The agreement seeks to divulgate about the role of biostimulants in order to promote a more sustainable agriculture.
AlgaEnergy and the Official College of Agricultural Engineers of Levante (COIAL) have signed a collaboration agreement by which the biotechnology becomes part of the project ‘COIAL Partners‘. This initiative, launched six years ago, seeks to create a community of associates and companies of the agri-food industry whose link is the agronomic engineering. Currently, more than 50 companies and institutions take part of the initiative.
Carlos Rodríguez-Villa, AlgaEnergy’s General Manager, has celebrated this collaboration and pointed out that “it is a good example of our company’s commitment to the professionalization of the agriculture. The Spanish agriculture, and also the European, faces some great challenges in the coming years and the success of the sector involves working from different areas to promote what is already called a sustainable intensification of the agriculture “. In this regard, “the important work of the COIAL in terms of dissemination will find an additional support with AlgaEnergy”, he added.
